The Luxion (るくしおん; Rukushion) was a Generation 3 space warship, and humanity's first near-lightspeed spacecraft, launched on August 24, 2013. The craft was captained by Yuzo Takaya. On December 20, 2015, it was destroyed in what would later be known as the "Luxion Disaster".
Several months later, an unknown object traveling near the speed of light was detected. Two pilots in high speed boosters were sent to intercept the object. Upon reaching it, however, its revealed to be the Luxion, its main thrusters still burning away. Due to the time dilation, the clocks on the ship read “21 Dec 2015”, mire days since the battle. The bridge at the front was also destroyed; only twisted metal remained.

The Luxion is 320 meters long and grey with red and orange markings. Its name is written in hiragana on its side.
