Notes and trivia[]
- This figure was designed with creative input from mechanical designer Koichi Ohata, who provided a background of the early stages of Gunbuster's design on the instruction booklet.
- This figure can transform into two versions of Gunbuster:
- Toy version: This is a perfect transformation without the removal of parts, involving transforming Buster Machine 2's front end into the feet and folding Buster Machine 2's upper panel into a backpack.
- Anime-accurate version: Transformation involves swapping the foot parts, removing Buster Machine 2's panel, and removing Buster Machine 1's wings.
- Gunbuster has an Easter egg inside the shoulder armor: the left side has the kanji "努力" (Doryoku; "Hard Work") imprinted while the right side reads "根性" (Konjō; "Guts").
- The original GX-34's landing pad hand has the lighted patterns imprinted on the palm; this marking is not present on GX-34R.
