Yuzo Takaya is Noriko Takaya's father, an admiral and the captain of the Luxion. He disappeared on December 19, 2015 along with his ship. Because of his work, he was only able to visit Noriko on her birthday, but Noriko was still very attached to him: it's because of him that she decided to become a space pilot.
